”A wonderful holiday with superb hosts. Lots to see. Accommodation first class
”We had the most amazing stay at Milk Harbour. Everywhere is so clean and tidy, the views are outstanding and so beautiful whatever time of the day. The water is inviting and easy to jump into at high tide, great for kids and very safe. Enjoy watching the seals basking on the sands, a rare treat. There is so much to do in the area, loads of places to visit, fabulous safe beaches and great places to eat. I really enjoyed a beach ride with Island View Riding Stables, excellent adherence to Covid regulations, great staff, beautiful horses and stunning beaches.
”From the time of initially booking to check out Geraldine and Steve were fantastic hosts that gave great info and advise about what to see and do in the area, always on hand to help while also respecting your privacy – the perfect balance! The apartment itself is beautiful, very spacious and immaculately maintained with thoughtful touches everywhere. The location is very peaceful but still within a few minutes drive of shops, beaches etc. Cannot recommend Milk Harbour enough. Stunning and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need right down to the much appreciated teabags and milk waiting for us on arrival! We will definitely be back!
”We recently had a perfect 3 night stay at Milk Harbour. The location is fantastic enjoying wonderful sea, island and sunset views. The accommodation is new and to a very high standard and comfort level. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, great walks, Ben Bulben, beaches and more. Our hosts Geraldine and Steve were so helpful with lots of local knowledge and tips. We will definitely be back!
”A true gem, Milk Harbour is hidden away in its own little bay, facing out into the ever changing seascape of Dernish Island and the Streedagh peninsula. Our hosts Steve and Geraldine were amazing and everything was to the highest standard. The Boat house apartment, where we stayed was bright, airy and beautifully warm with cosy underfloor heating. Stunning views in all directions from the large triple glazed windows, and what a place to watch the sunset over the sea! Steve entertained us with his knowledge of the history and tales of the locality. We were delighted to discover several stunning walks nearby on his advice. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and the many little extras were greatly appreciated making our mini staycation in uncertain times, one of the best ever. We hope to return to Milk Harbour for a return visit before too long!
”Just spent a fabulous few days at Milk harbour on a cycling and walking break. The accomodation and situation is very well set up for cyclists, being on the wild Atlantic way. Steve and Geraldine introduced us to Wild Atlantic wheels who delivered lovely Orbea bikes to Milk Harbour.
”Gabrielle and I spent a very enjoyable 4 days at Milk Harbour late July and will definitely come again. The location is stunning and there are many interesting places to visit not only in Sligo but also Leitrim and Donegal which are close by.
